The Time Has Come

On Monday morning, the 29th of November 1773, a handbill was posted all over Boston, containing the following words: "Friends! Brethren! Countrymen!--That worst of plagues, the detested tea, shipped for this port by the East India Company, is now arrived in the harbor”.

What We Want You To Do

When we first started, we wanted you to send a
virtual tea bag to your congress person, your senators, and the White House.

We still like that idea, but as all the local tea parties, town hall meetings. and the
09.12.09 March on DC have shown, there is much more that can be done.

How This All Got Started

On Friday, the 13th of February 2009, the Congress of the United States voted away the future of our children and grandchildren saying: “This stimulus will allow the American economy to recover and will rescue the American people from the worst recession since the Great Depression”.

The $1,000,000,000,000 spent back in February was just the first of a series of new government spending and entitlement programs stacked one after another in what seems to be an endless line of 'initiatives'.

And that's after the billions that the Bush Administration spent before them.

In March of 2009, Bloomberg.com estimated that over the last 20 months the
total dollar value committed by various entities belonging to or backed by the Federal Government at $12.8 trillion. That is almost equal to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the United States in 2008.

Since then we have the bailout/buy-outs of GM and Chrysler, Bank and Brokerage bailouts, 'Cash for Clunkers', Universal Health Care and much more.

All of these programs are financed by borrowing money from foreign countries, many of whom do not support democracy and individual rights.

This is clearly plan to 'borrow our way out of debt'. It also weakens our individual rights, weakens our country, and gives the Federal government control of almost every aspect of your life.
